The artist, G. Vîrtosu, embarked on the artistic ship a decade ago, firstly as a children’s book writer, a series with which every kid in the Eastern European bloc grew up with, A frog’s heart, and later on, while transecting colonialism and its consequences on the global setting, he wrote Ignorance (I-V) and the recently published Bavarian birch (I-VII).
A collection of Vîrtosu’s paintings may be found in Art Universal. The great encyclopedia of art, Palermo, Effetto Arte, 2021.
A discreet public figure, G. Vîrtosu was on the cover of Royal Monaco magazine, featuring an interview about his upcoming and how life beautifully and harmoniously adds up.
