A successful art career takes time, patience, and self-determination to succeed. We are limiting our evaluation of abstract art only. We have considered best ever artists that consistently produced art, have more than 1000 works portfolio, with a track record and dedication to becoming better.

Abstract painting is viewed as a key style contained within the Modern Art movement. Pioneered by many forward-thinking 20th-century painters and celebrated for its avant-garde aesthetic, the abstract genre represents a pivotal moment in modernism. Abstract painting rejected the “rules” of traditional art. Rather than focus on figurative and representational depictions, abstract painters emphasized composition, color, and emotion. Similarly, instead of concentrating on the completed works, these artists placed importance in the process.

There is a specific order of abstract artists as the number shows. Here are our abstract art stars or top 10 best abstract artists from 1895 till present. I have never made any trials or experiments. Whenever I had something to say, I have said it in the manner in which it needed to be said.I can hardly understand the importance given to the word 'research' in connection with modern painting. In my opinion to search means nothing in painting. To find is the real thing.

Best Modern Artists Wassily Kandinsky

Wassily Kandinsky (modern abstract artists)
Russian-born Wassily Kandinsky pioneered abstract art in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. His unique perspective on the form and function of art emphasized the synthesis of the visual and the auditory. He heard sounds as color, and this unusual perception was a guiding force in the development of his artistic style. He believed the purpose of art to be the conveyance of the artist's unique inner vision, which required transcendence of the objective world.

In each picture is a whole lifetime imprisoned, the lifetime of fears, doubts, hopes, and joys. Whither is this lifetime tending? What is the message of the competent artist? To harmonize, the whole is the task of art.

Confident art is large and encompassing, bold and persistent on the attention of the viewer while encouraging interpretation and participation in the experience of the work. The viewer engages the work as a partner to the artist and initiates a journey that shares in the evolution of its meaning. Envisioning and capturing work on canvas is not where it lies dormant and static: it is a place where the expression becomes a community and continues to expand.

The pictures were painted directly through me, without any preliminary drawings, and with great force. I had no idea what the paintings were supposed to depict; nevertheless, I worked swiftly and surely, without changing a single brush stroke.

The meaning of words has become so blurred by usage that 'abstract art' is identified with 'vague' and 'unreal,' and 'inwardness'. The conception of the word 'plastic' has also been limited by individual interpretations.

Van Gogh is one of the popular painters of the Post-Impressionist. However, he was not appreciated during his lifetime. He is now widely famed for the great vitality in his works which are expressive and emotive using brilliant color and energetic application of impastoed paint. The traumas of his life, documented in his letters, have tended to dominate and distort modern perceptions of his art.

At present, I want to paint a starry sky. It often seems to me that night is still more richly colored than the day; having hues of the most intense violets, blues, and greens. If only you pay attention to it you will see that certain stars are lemon-yellow, others pink or a green, blue and forget-me-not brilliance. And without my expatiating on this theme, it is obvious that putting little white dots on the blue-black is not enough to paint a starry sky.

When he returned, he created several abstract works that were based on his Tunisian watercolors.

The art of mastering life is the prerequisite for all further forms of expression, whether they are paintings, sculptures, tragedies, or musical compositions. Everything vanishes around me, and works are born as if out of the void. Ripe, graphic fruits fall off. My hand has become the obedient instrument of a remote will.

Born in Paris on April 12, 1885, Robert Delaunay was part of a prominent family descended from French aristocracy; his mother used the title "Countess." His parents divorced when he was four years old, and an aunt and uncle subsequently raised him. An uninspired student, Delaunay did not pursue education and instead apprenticed himself to a theatre designer. Unlike most of the painters of that era, he had no formal art training. In 1910 he married Sonia Terk, a Russian painter who became a life-long collaborator and continued to work on shared ideas long after his death from cancer in 1941.

If Art relates itself to an Object, it becomes descriptive, divisionist, literary. For me, every man distinguishes himself by his essence his personal movement, as opposed to that which is universal.

A picture lives by companionship, expanding, and quickening in the eyes of the sensitive observer. It dies by the same token. It is therefore risky to send it out into the world. How often it must be impaired by the eyes of the unfeeling and the cruelty of the impotent.

You paint the way you have to in order to give. That's life itself, and someone will look and say it is the product of knowing, but it has nothing to do with knowing, it has to do with giving. I paint not the things I see but the feelings they arouse in me.
